Refund Policy
Cancellation, refunds, and payment disputes are different actions. This page explains what each one does.
Membership cancellation
You can cancel a paid membership from SHINE Account. Unless the confirmation says otherwise, cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues through the current paid period. Canceling does not automatically refund an earlier charge.
One-time App purchases
An organization administrator can request a refund from purchase history. Include the correct organization and App; SHINE uses the authenticated transaction record rather than card details to identify the purchase.
How requests are reviewed
We review transaction timing, duplicate or unauthorized charges, material technical failure, delivery and use of the license, prior refunds or disputes, abuse signals, and mandatory consumer rights. Approval is not automatic, and nothing in this policy limits rights that applicable law does not allow us to waive.
Effect on access
An approved refund or resolved dispute revokes the corresponding separately purchased license. Free Apps remain available with a registered account. If Ultra is independently active, its included access continues until Ultra ends.
Processing and status
Submitting a request records it for review; it is not confirmation that money has been returned. Approved refunds are sent through the original payment processor and timing depends on Stripe, the payment method, and the financial institution. Purchase history shows the current license and request state.
Contact
Use Contact and account help from the authenticated SHINE Account. This lets us verify the organization without asking you to send payment credentials by email.
